My first time ever watching Waiting to Exhale was as an adult. My mom wouldn’t let me watch the movie when I was younger because Clearly it wasn’t made for my young eyes. But looking back, this movie taught me what a sisterhood looked like. Our sister circles (or kickbacks) resemble their pow wow around the coffee table and fire pit.
